If you bolt an old FFPW body onto a newer frame and drive train, you will still have all the comfort and safety drawbacks of the old body.

The only thing you have accomplished is retaining the vintage look. There's no winning with a FFPW. Just enjoy the "vintageness" of having an old truck unless you enjoy swimming upstream and pissing into the wind :)
