i am 42. purchased my command car in 1996, finished it in 2012. take your time, have fun. do not work for free unless it is a gift to someone who needs the help. consider what is important to you and begin to build a plan on how to accomplish only the goals that provide value, comfort, enjoyment and build relationships. make your goals in a directional way - i.e. don't set rigid timelines, but always make forward progress. set up your shop so that you can leave your vehicle in a ready state to be worked on when you want to - it will get finished. your health, family and friends are the most important parts of a life well lived. a good wife is worth her weight in gold, a bad wife is an anchor and a fate worse than death. only have children if you have a good wife and have reasonable prospects of being able to support them!! ditto relationships- build on the good ones, eliminate the toxic ones. my grandfather told us that if money can fix it, it is not a problem. switch to bourbon or whiskey and drink less and enjoy more. i try my best to live as above and i have been OK.
