Greg, when I was working on the 6x6 that Dan H has the rear of the frame had been cut and I was able to buy a channel to extend it back to original and the found another channel to weld inside the frame overlapped on both sides, the channel I used was somewhat thicker than the 5/16th frame but worked out great. I just went to a fab shop and they had everything there I needed. I had taken off the outer frame skin and never replaced it to much rust gets inside of it. Duane.
