Work on getting the window mechanism to work.
You have to get the window to a place that the rollers can come out of the openings in the track.
Try WD 40 or other penetrant to the window mechanism. Apply several times over several days. Let it soak then work the handle back and forth. Lube up the rollers too.
The window mechanism is just a simple quadrant and gear. You should be able to get it free. Be careful with the handle, they are delicate. You may need to use a wrench or Vice Grips, if you haven't already.
If the other door is working, I'd take that one apart to see how things are supposed to work. It may help to have a helper grab a hold of the window to assist while you work the window lift mechanism back and forth.
There is no problem getting the mechanisms out of the door once you get the window out.
Patience is the whole key here.
