Make ferdarnsure that you have all the nuts off the studs. And if it is still hanging up, try some heat on the exhaust manifold in the area of the two long studs. I'm a fan of red hot w/ an acetylene torch, or try Paul's less heat and stick a candle against it. It has worked fro me. But good thing I like the smell of burning candles when I get out the smoke wrench fro real.

What happens when you heat red rust to near red hot is that it turns into black oxide. The black kind is denser, takes up less space in the joint, and things get loose. Better living through chemistry.

DO NOT BREAK A MANIFIOLD, either accidentally or on purpose. Drill the studs out most of the way- leave an inch or so to get vise grips on them later.
