I've got a water-to-air intercooler for a 6bt that I'm thinking about letting go. It bolts right onto the head in place of an intake snorkel. If you've got hood clearance for a charge air crossover pipe, You've got room for this aftercooler. It will fit any 12-valve motor. I have injection lines for a rotary injection pump, it will need different lines for a in-line P-pump.

I love the simplicity of the 12-valves. Personally, I wouldn't do it any other way, but it ought to be possible to put an electronic 24-valve into a repower without taking all of the integrated electronics along with it. Cummins builds engines for all kinds of applications besides Dodge trucks, you should be able to get an engine controller (and transmission if going auto) that is independent of the other vehicle accessories.
