I figured as much. As I was trying to figure out what the second "A" stood for, I ran across the Army grease test. There is also a grease RB which stands for roller bearing.
It's amazing the lengths the Army went to to test the grease.
The summary of the Army test also addresses some issues involved with marine grease. But, the whole summary is probably only of interest to a few.
