Can't trust any of them unless it is an individual or custom company who hauls it themselves. Not saying some of the people aren't trustworthy, it's just unless you are dealing with one guy or company, there's no way to trust everybody in the chain. Go with a custom hauler (big or small) who has developed a reputation.
Advice: Don't pay up front, even just a deposit. Pay when it is delivered. Don't deal with brokers. Be really flexible on your schedule if you want a good price. Don't allow your truck to be shipped on multiple trucks or taken to a depot, especially for a short haul like yours. Make sure they know what a Power Wagon is, how much it weighs and how big it is.
