Date Tested: November 13 - 21, 1950

"With eight speeds ranging from 4 to 54 mph, the Dodge Power Wagon featured a four-wheel-drive design and weighed in at 5,809 lbs. During tests F, G, and H an additional 1,057 lbs. of cast iron was added to each rear wheel, with an additional 594 lbs. of iron added to each front wheel, giving a total operating weight of 9,110 lbs. Test G, run in low gear, produced a maximum pull of 6,480 lbs. at 2.03 mph with a slippage of 12.82 percent. Using second gear, the 10 hour run of Test H produced a rated output of 30.64 drawbar hp, along with a pull of 2,615 lbs. at 4.39 mph against a slippage of 3.69 percent. No repairs or adjustments were recorded during the 39 hours of engine operating time."
