If someone tells you they got this spam email from you and they send you a copy, and you recognize all the names in the "to" field, then it may indeed have come from your computer or your email account. But if most of the names are ones you don't recognize, then there's no way it could have come from your your account even if the virus plugged your name into the "from" field. There's no security on "from" fields in email, so the spamming viruses regularly spoof it.
