stake pockets

a few of the stake pockets have gotten weak,i want to make replacements.so if i might ask haow are they attached and whats the best way to remove them .second question is there a commecial size channel that i can purchase to cutt and weld on that will still look like stock stake pockets.you folks are always such a great help and for that i thank you.junoir copey
