I replaced cable fitting with one of the signal generators on my NP200 that I plan to run to an electric speedometer. But there are ones that use GPS to determine speed, and others that will use a sensor strapped to a driveshaft like a bicycle.

The first one still uses the speedometer gear in the transfer case, the other two do not.
