Do do a Flemish Eye, you untwist the cable into two sections,(3+4) then tie the two together, and keep working them back together, so that each half goes around the loop in opposite directions. It will look just like the cable was bent around the eye in one section, except that at the clamp area the seven separate clusters are scattered all the way around, not just the one tag and.
That is how the swaged ends should be done too- it's why they get away with a single small swage instead of three clamps.
Directions are on the net. My problem is trouble getting the eye the right size to be a tight fit on it's thimble.
