I have a lot of experience with pto and hydraulic winches, but have only owned one electric winch and said I would never own another. But for this application, it's the only way to go.It makes no difference on a pto winch whether the cable winds over the top or the bottom of the spool. And it probably makes no difference on this little electric one either.
