You guys are dangerous.
Start by soaking in white vinegar. The acid will brak down some of the rust particles. Next, use penetrating oil (kerosene, actually) such as PB-Blaster, KROIL, or even WD-40. Then try to move the parts gradually. Then rinse with more oil, repeat until you get some significant movement.
