I wasn't commenting on the price. I have no idea what an early mechanical governor might go for. I was commenting on the way the ad was written, which is saying, basically, "Hold on to your hat"
Now, I have seen the ad, I have, the same feeling. $2,500 for an incomplete non-working governor? If that's what they are worth, fine. I'm not in the market for one.
I wonder how many trucks went to the scrapper with complete PTO setups?
