Many thanks for that info paul. 3/16" sheet.. wow. thats intense!

I am leaning towards the side of boxing the frame and possibly even building some form of X-bracing out of some thick wall tubing just to help things out.

I figure that a properly built suspension can react properly against a rigid frame and thus the frame need not move and the body be insulated from the frame and then everything works out happy and no body cracks or creaks etc. Mine has a 14 ga floor in it already from the previous owner, however its not fully supported so I am thinking I'll add another sheet of 1/8 over it and plug weld it in place to the existing floor. Then I am going to put a thin layer of laminate flooring to simulate the original rear interior. Plus that sheet of 1/8 will give me a little more umph to mount the seats too, sound and heat resistance, and as you have pointed out, chassis rigidity. I like the neoprene block idea! I have found a place that sells bulk machinable polyurethane thats good for body mounts.

That B3.9 shake badly?
