Agreed...love M37's. Would love to get another sometime soon.
The WDX-WM300 just isn't a "wheeler".
They'll hold their own off-road but they're farm vehicles. Now a day a useable farm vehicle needs to travel on blacktop as well as it can travel off road...but realistically they're just too valuable to beat on anyway.
Most restored trucks don't see much dirt. Most mint originals are mint because they pull a lawn mower or head to the IA Rally every year. The modified 4BT & crewcab trucks...well according to Legacy's Website, they're commanding $100K plus for a truck with hideous modern trimmings & so I'm guessing the guys paying for the PW with the Toyota Celica steering wheel & gauges probably doesn't want to take their Pee Pee extender off & into a tree.
