but, why do people feel it is O.K. to make jokes about baldness? I'm bald myself and not especially sensitive to being bald but wonder why people who would never comment on someone being fat, deformed or ugly feel it is O.K. to make fun of somebody being bald. Usually, the person making the comment has plenty of defects of their own.
There are probably not many hair models in the age group that most of us are in. It's a
fact that as men age (and women too), most of us will begin to lose hair. So, if you notice you are using more and more face soap and less shampoo, you might consider the appropriateness of your comments.
At my age, I'm more worried about my teeth falling out than my hair. If you'd like to get into a contest about my hair versus your looks, your position in life or your wife, or your other short comings and failures, I'm up to it.
