It is good to hear of a frame that fits well. While I am not afraid of modifying a frame, if you extensively modify the frame it is not really the factory engineered frame anymore. I have kind of wondered because I have a 1948 power wagon with a really straight frame but no title. If I titled it with a newer frame the title problem is solved. But at the same time I would like make the power wagon kind of stock and it won't see hard offroad use.
