Posted a question a forum or two ago about some weird behavior of the left front turn signal on the wife's Dodge Grand Caravan.

As was suggested it did turn out to be a bad ground. Followed the wires back and found a rusty ground point. There were about 6 ground wires there but the one going to the left turn signal looks like it burned apart about two inches from the ground point itself. Took it all apart, cleaned up the ground, soldered in some new wire, shrinktube, put it all back together and all the lights are working perfectly. Of course the ground point was buried in the front end, had to move the coolant jug and get it from underneath.

I slathered the ground point and nut with white lithium grease before putting it back together. Always saw my Dad do that with any car electrical stuff, is that recommended?

Thanks all for the advice!
