Size doesn't determine load rating, but if it's only a 2" I would not use it since it could damage the cable when under load (as the cable is bent on too sharp of a radius. Not sure the minimum diameter shiv your cable can safely be used on, but I will recommend the diameter of the spool on your winch as a guide, then obtain a block for desired load rating.....Ray
