Nick:

Many things can cause vibrations in the front end. It seems that a lot of ffPW have a vibration at 30 to 35. It can be significant or not.

It may be the tires, out of round wheels or balance that starts the vibration but it can be made really bad by other issues in the front end. Ie if there any slop anywhere the vibration becomes a death wobble.

Check the following;
Wheel bearings
King pin bearings and cones
Tie rod ends
Spring bushings and pins should not be worn
Check drag link ends for wear and adjust
Check that the steering arm is tight
Adjust steering to remove any slop.
Any slop in the above will amplify any vibrations that come from the tires. I had really bad death wobble in my carryall. I ended up rebuilding the entire front end. I now have no vibrations at all. I can travel at 70mph all day with no wandering or vibrations.
