Mass ejected to the rear pushes vehicle forward by recoil. "For every actions there is an equal and opposite re-action."
But you also need enough flotation so you don't immediately dig in. Then you need enough horse power to eject enough mass, or you just dig in.
So, something as heavy and underpowered as a PW, you need floatation and enough traction to prevent wheel spin. Big flat slick tires.
