Hi Dave, When I was a kid ( long,long ago)people used to have a ground strap attached to axle housing or frame that drug on the ground as they drove. Is this a good cure for static electricity? I'm always getting shocked when I touch the metal in the camper. Did these straps do anything or was it just some quirky fad? Maybe the ground strap should be around my leg and drag the ground as I walk. Would a vehicle or occupants be more likely to be hit by lightning? I think I'll take my socks off and sit outside barefoot and check the electrolyte in my battery with some single malt scotch till I hear from you.
