I own a Dustless Blaster and in my opinion it's THE only way to clean metal. I have the smallest unit and a 185CFM compressor that will clean metal and not warp it. Go to dustlessblasting.com/ the company can locate someone in your area who can do the blasting onsite for you. Any other DYI method is a waste of your time and money. You will get excellent results and be ready for primer when it's done. The units aren't cheap but they do the job like nothing else.
