Jerry, Yes I am getting answers, thank you! I would love to see a picture of the Braden winch, with the engagement mechanism, how it is mounted. Also, someone else posted that I need to get one of those "hinged thingies" to lock the spool unengaged. (A picture, for me, is worth a thousand words!) How do I post a picture of my own on this forum?
