Just use bailing wire to attach square tubing or solid blocks to the top of the spring pack (or was it axle?) where the bumper on the frame hits. I wouldn't do this. In fact I removed it from my M-56 when I took off the rotten plywood flatbed. Still had skid marks on the bottom of the plywood.
