It would be better to fix it, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. I'll bet a good percentage of the old plow trucks that only see Winter use have electrical problems.
If we had snow again, the citizens would be out "foraging" right away. If we ever have a bad earthquake which cuts off the freeways into the L.A. basin for a few days, it will be like one of those apocalyptic science fiction movies. The balance of things here is fairly tenuous.
We are exactly the opposite of the Hank Williams Jr. song, "A Country Boy Can Survive".
