I just installed a set of NAPA brand SMP3600 plug wires in my WC 1/2ton...and boy was it a close call! Unfortunately the set came with a coil wire which was about 1/2 as long as it needed to be. Tiny. Short.
That said, on the fortunate side of things, one of the plug wires was EXACTLY the correct distance from plug #3 to distributor plus coil to distributor. Long. Really long. And by "exactly the correct distance", I mean zero room for error. This is a measure 3x before cutting and hold your breath situation.
The result is that the coil and #3 are a little tight looking, but it will work (I had to slide the coil out to get another 1/2 inch). I don't think that I'd go with them again if I had to. Perhaps other kits have a reasonable length coil wire.
Also note that this was a problem because the WC 1/2t has a the coil mounted up high in the firewall. I think a lot of others have the coil on the engine, so it might work well for those.
