Hi Dave.
We can get some pretty low temps with wind chill here. My 12 volt system employs a runtz 12/6 reducer. I have always had plenty of heat. Air leakage thru floor and firewall are my biggest problem. I am sure you went thru your heater to assure it is clear of any obstructions that might hinder it. I did learn that a 12volt fan speed control won't work on the 6 volt fan. Jerry
