I have had radial 9.00 buckshots and Michelin 11.00s they did not ride better than my bias. I have never had any STA. just other brands I cant remember that came on trucks. the michelin XL was horribly noisy, the worst ice tire I ever drove, and offered no smoother ride than worn out bias. offroad traction on the 11.00 was marginal at best unless you aired them down then they worked great. if they did ride any better maybe my brain was too fried to notice from the deafening noise the XLs make on the freeway. ;/)
