ABS and PVC will eventually melt and sag once things get hot. Not a big deal as long as you are prepared for it. Also the pipe probably won't be good for anything else afterwards. It's kind of nice to not run around in a haze of old truck exhaust.
Can't you just roll the back end out of the shop and let it smoke outside? As long as you aren't sitting under a cold inversion layer it should blow away.
