My old 47 WF-32 flat out running as fast as it can go is 40mph. 35mph is comfortable. I think I run out of transmission and not the flathead.
I don't want to do any faster in it. Its a rush at 35-40mph. The rest of the truck don't want to go any faster either.
I will occasionally take mine on some short trips to shows that are 30-40miles 1 way.
They are what they are and nothing more.
