'47 wdx power wagon vs. 46 dodge pick up

I have a'47 wdx power wagon with a sour motor . I have been offered a '46 Dodge pickup with a running engine for practically nothing and need to know if these engines are the same . they appear to be the same to me. would appreciate any and all input .thankx ,landbutchr@aol
