What kind of trouble are you having with adjustment? Have you disassembled the unit to look for gear and bearing wear? I have just gone through mine and it adjusted very nicely. My bearings and gear were fine. The only hard part to find was the pitman arm seal but I found a suitable replacement in metric...that was before I learned that VPW has some N.O.S.!
