Funny stuff,
Personally, I always prefered a cold Texas Pearl beer to any of the microbrews out here. Are they still around? I am now designing the label for a run of "Townie brew" to be made at a local microbrew house. God knows Californians can't throw stones about anything. Between the riots, fires, earthquakes, blackouts, and gas price gougeing, its still can be a good place to live.
It still bites my butt that that I am driving by two refineries on the way home and still pay higher gas prices than a large part of the country.
