Dodg'in dale, If you are talking about the blower motor switch for the heater and a/c, there has been numerous postings on this problem for the '80-'90 trucks. The solution I found is to wire around the existing fuse in the box. Disconnect the leads going in and coming out of the fuse box for the fan. Then butt connect the leads with an in-line 30amp fuse holder, ATC type. The fuse holder must have at least #12 wire. I've done this on two Dodges '77 & '90 vans, and had no problems after the rewire. Hope this helps, Tom H.
