There's a few but probably more going into M37s because of space. Engines I have heard of being transplanted into old Dodges:
Hercules DTA3.7/DT3.7
Perkins 4.236
Detroit Diesel 3-53
Cummins 4BT3.9
Various Nissan and Mazda 6 cyls in the 3-4L range outside the US

A really great engine would be a Toyota 14B. Direct injection 3.66L, 96 hp @ 3400, 177 ft-lb @ 2000. Easily turboed up to ~140 hp and 240-250 ft-lb. Would do best with a Toyota H55F 5spd and a late (strongest) Landcruiser transfer case and 4.89 gears. There were 2 in Van Nuys CA at a place called "TLC" from 2 Brazilian Bandeirante/Landcruisers which currently use this motor, but they are sold now.
