JD told me last week I needed an original replacement pump because it has a vac. pump attached. i removed mine and found out it was a Carter with no vaccum pump. I found a replace pump for $45, but had to reverse the valve body. Two things, the W/S wipers still work, so where is the vaccum coming from?
And how do I prime the new pump, I tried to crank it for 10 minutes, no gas to the carb.
