Quite often the old trucks and cars did not have any fuses. I have seen an inline fuse that mounts to the back of the light switch. Often they brought the main power source to the light switch. You will often find an extension to the light switch that is 1X1/2" that the wire is attached. This is in tern screwed on to the back of the light switch. I do not know if Dodge ever did this with the PWs. But it is worth a look. I will look in my 52 PW tonight. In my 42 WC 53 I added an aftermarket fuse box when I rewired it. It is located under the dash and out of sight. I also did the same on a 58 Willys. I bought the box from Summit.
