I fail to understand how using an electric accessorie instead of belt driven one saves power when the electricity to drive it has to be made by a belt driven system . Why not add an electric motor to your fanbelt, run it from your charging system,it would add horse power to the drive train in direct proportion to how much horsepower your engine uses to drive charging system, for a net loss of power caused by inefficiencies. The only way these electric accessories add power is to run from a battery for short times, like 1/4 mile drags. Otherwise the engine mods make sense, but include a distributor recurve too..
