I met him in Glastonbury maybe in 1996 at the 10 degrees below zero December rally. He didn't have his truck then, it was buried in snow at his father's. A year or so later, I talked to a friend whos business was in the same locat1on as Alex's in Hartford and knew him. I asked how Alex was doing and he said he relocated to NYC. Just to see what happened I searched his name and photography and came up with an NYC listing under photographers. I emailed that to you. I also got a bunch of hits for SCCA racing in Maine and NH, is he into rallies too? Alex and I have a mutual friend, Don Beckwith who drives the Cummins powered M37 in Granby. Alex wrote the article in PWA a few years ago on Don and his truck. At the time it was Perkins powered. That wasn't enough so Don squeezed a 6 cylinder Cummins in there. Once Alex stopped by Don's with some friends from the midwest and bought some tires from him. You wouldn't be one of those friends would you? I don't know what happened to Alex's truck. Usually when guys relocate to big cities, they justify continued ownership and leave it at dear old dad's. If I bored anyone with all this sorry, but Alex is an honored pw nut. He took the famous panoramic photo's of the Iowa rally years ago with a camera older than the trucks.
