Just get one off a 46-48 Dodge or Plymouth P15 or D24 series. Readily available at the scrap yards and a drop in. One of my P15 buddies knows of a shop that can set them up and customize the curves if desired. Only problem is finding a good vacuum advance. My local NAPA guy has a place that rebuilds them so they can be overhauled. I would stay away for the model which has a dogleg in the advance lever and the lever fits through a notch on the top edge. The other style has a straight advance lever and hole in the side of the distributor case. They are more prevelant and easier to find parts. ALso I have installed 2 of the Crane units so if you have any questions drop me an email.
