Thanks for the feedback. I think, given the extra time and money stretching the frame would cost, I'm better off applying it toward getting the truck running and on the road. If I *have* to have a 10 ft bed, I can always modify the truck later. And even though this chassis is not a good candidate for a historical restoration, I'm reluctant to alter it in such a permanent way.
