Sherman you seem to be on top of this charging thing maybe you could answer a question along the same lines. Because a 12 volt 100 amp alternator (internal regulator) puts out only half the amps of a 6 volt system could you run the 12 volt alternator on the ffpw 6 volt 50 amp gauge without burning up the gauge? Keeping in mind that what is registering on the gauge is X2 (50 amp 6 volt gauge could handle a 100 amp alternator)
