Do me a favor, when you have it apart again, feel for a gap between the bushing and the seal and the step. If the gap is gone, you know it is down all the way.
And those bushings are greased by the fitting on the top knuckle bushing, with "splash" lube on the bushings and removable plug at the back of the knuckle to verify level:-)
