Nylon plies get flat spots on the bottom. Hard to get them off the flats.

More air pressure lowers rolling resistance too.

Pushing on the top of the tire gives you a leverage advantage.

And putting your butt against a bumper, then pushing with both legs will double your power too. And be much easier on your back and arms.

I once pushed my command car up hill far enough to bump start it back down, all by myself. I had mounted an MU-5 winch on it, so it was not possible to use the hand crank. I had a 6x6 block, never go anywhere with blocking (Jethro Gibbs rule #3/4t). Working at the left front tire, push it back, up hill, Even an inch to start with, let it roll against the block and bounce back, heave again. Repeat until it is about ready to roll over the block, then kick the block at next heave. Repeat. many times.
