i noticed that the front axles were almost a full 1/8 of an inch thicker than all the other axles but the splines are the same---in other words the shaft is the same dia. as the spline od where as the rear axles drop down in thickness from the spline od---so off the bat you could use that much thicker shaft and better metal and just use front cups and spline both ends and vala stronger axles-course everyone says the problem is the course spline vs fine spline is why they break but i think the brake cuz the axle flexes too much and twist in two so maybe thicker plus better metal may lend to stronger axle using the stock spline and cups

one could maybe build the diffs with fine spline on the receiving end and use cups with fine splines on the ends as well but that is a whole nuther ball game and everything would have to be custom made unless someone ventured forth and made a kit
