When I got my first M37 I tried to rebuild the wiper motors. Tried every sort of grease I had sitting around and nothing really worked. Maybe they were too worn out, but I doubt it. Maybe my vacuum wasn't strong enough. Eventually put in the electric motors A B Linn sells. Did not require any mods to the truck.
